creativity to make it one of the most engaging marketing programs in the
country. Remote OK, contract to start, opportunity for Full-Time.

Launch Potato is a
profitable startup studio that incubates and launches mobile and web companies
on our proprietary technology stack.
This position would work on
a product that is already existing under the LP umbrella and optimally poised
for high growth over the next year.

can solve complex issues in product development, engineering, creative, and

THE ROLE – TL:DR
This is an amazing opportunity to be personally responsible for creating— in
priority order— high-response banners, landing pages and emails in a
comprehensive marketing strategy that utilizes (already proven) engaging
content and best in direct response marketing techniques.
You’ll be responsible for
the entire design and development process, take ownership of a project from
start to finish, and deliver clean, compliant code.

Among your core
responsibilities will be taking Photoshop comps and building them out into
functional banner ads, websites, or email creatives.
Knowledge of and being
extremely comfortable with both the latest HTML and CSS development trends is a
must, along with the ability to identify and creatively resolve coding
challenges.
You'll also be creating your
own designs from scratch, ranging from online banner campaigns to email
creative that render beautifully across ISPs and devices.
You’d work directly with the
Chief Creative Officer via Slack, Asana, and Google Hangouts and actively
communicate with the extended Marketing and Engineering Teams.
You must be highly motivated
and enjoy working in a tight-knit group. We love people with a passion for
learning and keeping up with the changing trends of both design and standard
compliance coding.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
* 3+ years experience building
beautiful websites for businesses and/or agencies, ideally for a B2C audience.
* Creative design skills
that reflect modern UI/UX trends.
* Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3
and responsive design/development.
* Solid understanding of web
design principles, typography, UI, web standards, excellent visual design
skills, and impressive technical skills.
* Ability to work with
developers to implement designs and integrate front-end code.
* 5+ years Photoshop
experience, and knowledge of vector design.
* Fluency in English.
GREAT BUT NOT NECESSARY
* Experience working with a
server-side technology like Python/Django.
* Experience implementing
Javascript and advanced CSS animation.
* Experience working for an
online direct marketing company
* Comfortable with web and
email analytics
AVAILABILITY
This is a contract position.
Ideally it would quickly evolve into a full-time role with significant opportunities
for the right person.
Pay would start on a
fixed-cost basis and would be based on your skill level, revisions needed and
several other success factors discussed in advance.
